After the Caravan was struck, the G35 lost control, went into the grassy median, and came back onto the roadway traveling northbound in the southbound lanes striking a Pontiac Grand Prix partially head on, the release stated.
The driver of the Grand Prix was entrapped and had to be extricated by the West Chester Fire Department and was transported to West Chester Hospital with serious injuries.
The other two drivers were transported to West Chester Hospital with minor injuries.
West Chester Police and West Chester Fire and EMS assisted with the closure of the interstate.
The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Hamilton Post.
