Three vehicles were diverted for further investigation during the Aug. 30 OVI checkpoint conducted by the Butler County OVI Task Force.
Task Force officers checked 302 vehicles travelling in both directions between 10 p.m. and 12:35 a.m. at 5270 College Corner Pike/U.S. 27 in Oxford.
Of the three vehicles diverted for further investigation only one citation for an expired driver license was issued, according to Pete Reising, task force coordinator.
Participating agencies included Oxford police, Oxford Twp. police, Miami University police, Butler County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The task force will have another OVI Checkpoint on Friday. The time and location will be released the day of the checkpoint.
