Popular Oxford restaurant abruptly closes after 20 years

An Oxford business that’s been around for two decades abruptly closed its doors Monday.

Kona Bistro posted a sign on its door at 31 W. High St. and thanked customers for their patronage, but didn’t elaborate much further on its Facebook page message.

“There has been a lot of speculation and rumors,” reads the message on the page. “Unfortunately it is true. Kona is closing its doors after 20 years of business.
