New area businesses to offer fast-casual Mexican food, active wear fashion

Chiptole Mexican Grill is planning to open a new Butler County location.

The fast-casual restaurant chain recently filed an application for a zoning certificate for a storefront in the Crossings of Beckett shopping center on the southeast corner of Ohio 747 and Tylersville Road in West Chester Twp.

Located at 7903 Crossings of Beckett Drive in West Chester Twp., the new storefront will include a pick-up window.

It is part of a 133,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace that opened on Jan. 31, as well as Kroger gas station and a small medical clinic. Other shopping center tenants include Ambiance Nail Spa, SuperCuts, PetPeople and a recently announced Subway location.

Chipotle has eight locations in Butler and Warren counties, including in the the communities of Fairfield, Fairfield Twp., Liberty Twp. and Monroe, and two each in the communities of West Chester Twp. and Deerfield Twp.

New locations are under construction in Hamilton and Middletown. Company officials previously told this news outlet those openings would occur in August and the fall, respectively.

This news outlet reached out to officials with Chipotle’s corporate offices on how long it would take to construct and open the new West Chester location, but didn’t hear back from them before deadline.

Proletics

Proletics, a brand providing leggings for women and other special products for running, training and active lifestyles, will join Cincinnati Premium Outlets’ roster of nearly 100 name-brand retailers in mid-June.

The more than 2,000-square-foot store will offer shoppers leggings, jeggings, shorts and more active wear fashion at $10 per item.

“Proletics promotes healthy, active lifestyles, and its newest location at Cincinnati Premium Outlets will offer unparalleled savings on trendy, athleisure fashion,” said Mary Ann Mattscheck, Cincinnati Premium Outlets general manager. “The addition further highlights the center as the perfect destination for the area’s savviest shoppers.”

The new store will be located across from Skechers and near Under Armour. There are four other Proletics nationwide, including locations in Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Washington.

The new Proletics is the latest in a string of a new stores at the outlet mall.

Athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories store Puma is set to open there next month. Already opened so far this year are Pepper Palace, sells gourmet hot sauce, barbecue sauce, salsa, pickled items, jellies and jams, beef jerky and more.

Action sports footwear and apparel retailer Vans opened in March next to Reebok Outlet and across from Disney Outlet Store and an AT&T store opened near Columbia Factory Store.
