Nikki Rajahn, a mother of four who runs a custom-made apparel company, asked her son Blake what he would like her to make for him to wear for his first day of school, CBS News reported.

"Will you please make me a shirt that says, 'I will be your friend'?" he asked.

Rajahn's image of Blake in the shirt was shared thousands of times on social media. Because of the surprise success, Rajahn has started selling versions of the shirts for $15. A portion of the proceeds benefits Real Life Center, a charity through their church.

When Rajahn told Blake she started selling the shirts, he replied:

"Oh good! Now more and more people are going to have more and more friends!"
