As if it wasn't a rough enough commute the day after a major snowstorm, people waiting for a train to Penn Station Wednesday morning got an unwelcome and chilly surprise.
The train slightly overshot the platform and a wave of snow crashed into passengers on the platform, according to WNBC.
Witnesses shot video of the incident and posted it on social media. Some people were knocked to the ground by the force of the snow, according to WNBC.
While some asked if the train was going too fast, railroad expert Gus Ubaldi told WNBC that the train appeared to be going at a normal speed, but waiting passengers should not have been allowed to wait so close to the tracks.
