A teenager was robbed and pepper-sprayed Friday in a Target parking lot.
The boy was waiting in his mother's car around 3:38 p.m. when a man walked up to the car, reached in and tried to take money out of a purse, Hoover police said on social media.
The teen tried to stop the theft but was blasted with pepper spray.
Police said the man then took the purse and left the area in a white sedan being driven by another man.
The teen was treated at the scene by fire medics.
Police released an image of the robbers taken by surveillance video before the robbery.
Investigators are searching for the robbers.
