Teen blames 'too many hot wings' after being pulled over going 105 mph, police say

Canadian police said a teenager who was caught speeding in Manitoba blamed the situation on “too many hot wings.”

The 16-year-old driver was stopped after police clocked the teen driving a Chevrolet Camaro at 170 km/h (about 105 mph), Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Manitoba said Thursday in a social media post.

Officials said the teenager told police he or she had “too many hot wings and needed a bathroom.”

Authorities said the teen was fined about $1,170 CAD (about $881 USD) for the debacle -- $966 CAD (about $727 USD) for speeding and $203 CAD (about $152 USD) for driving without a supervising driver as required under Manitoba's graduated licensing rules, according to GlobalNews.ca.

“Absolutely (no excuses) for that kind of speed,” police said.
