A 17-year-old teen, identified only as Logan, is 6 feet 7 inches tall. He was working on a group assignment last week when a girl in his class asked him about his height.
"I'm 5 feet tall, so I obviously noticed he was much taller than me," the classmate, named Heather, told New York Magazine. "I asked him how tall he was, and he said '6 feet 7 inches' and my exact next words were 'Really?,' so he pulled out his wallet and handed me that card."
The card that Logan gave Heather had a few simple statements listed: "Yes, I am tall. You're very observant for noticing. No, I don't play basketball. The weather is perfect up here."
The teen, who did play basketball when he was younger, said he saw the cards online and decided to purchase them to quell repeated jokes and comments about his height.
"I bought 100 for $10," Logan told the magazine. "Best investment yet."
Logan, who said his card stock is running low, said people ask him about his height between five and 10 times each day.
Many social media users reposted a photo of the business card, saying that they liked the idea.
According to Good Housekeeping, the cards, which are customizable and can be printed with different heights, gained attention online in 2014.
