A Southwest Airlines plane skidded off a runway Thursday at Hollywood Burbank Airport in California, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Officials said the incident happened just after 9 a.m. as Southwest Flight 278, from Oakland, California, was landing.

There were 117 passengers on board when the plane slipped but no injuries were reported, the Los Angeles Times and KCBS-TV reported. The incident happened as heavy rains swept through the area, according to the Times.

Photos shared on social media appeared to show damage to the plane.

Officials said the airport remained open after the incident, although at least one runway was closed.
