Last, Erie County deputies arrested and charged Szymanski with grand larceny, aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle and an additional traffic violation stemming from a scheme to sell fake Best Buy gift cards.
A victim contacted investigators after meeting Szymanski through a social media market place app. He gave her $1,450 for Best Buy gift cards to use to buy a laptop. She then went into the store, bought a printer and left in a waiting vehicle with the rest of the victim's money, WKBW reported.
