Mom gives daughter’s teacher new car so educator doesn’t have to ride multiple buses to work

Courtney Adeleye, the CEO and founder of The Mane Choice line of hair care products, is known by her social media followers as someone who pays it forward.

But her latest act of goodwill will make sure an Alabama teacher will be able to get to school on her own, CBS News reported.

The teacher, who had never had a new car of her own, had to make multiple bus transfers or ask for a ride just to get to and from her school, according to the "Today" show.

Adeleye found out from her husband that their daughter's teacher was in need of a car, The Daily Mail reported.

She posted to Instagram last month:

“When my husband tells me that the teacher who has been teaching my girls for the last few years has been catching multiple buses to get to and from work everyday in the hot sun and cold! He said we should giver her something I said ... say no more! When you ask me to define success...this is my response (Give to those without expectations.) All glory to GOD!”

So Adeleye went to a local car dealership and picked out a brand new vehicle, wrapped it in a bow and surprised the unidentified teacher, the "Today" show reported.

Adeleye's daughter was recording when her teacher was given her gift, BET reported.

A few days later, Adeleye posted to Instagram again, saying that the teacher told her "it felt good DRIVING to school!"

This isn't the first time that Adeleye has helped someone. Her story was recently shared by Forbes about how she grew her company. The Mane Choice, from a $500 personal investment to $25 million in sales in only four years.

To celebrate her success, she started the program called Pay My Bill. She pays off a bill of one of her brand's followers on Instagram each month, Forbes reported.

Forbes said that Adeleye has paid more than 150 bills so far.
