A Missouri resident found an unwelcome guest in the pantry of his apartment after returning from vacation.
The Ballwin resident went to find a snack and instead found a python, KMOV reported.
A Ballwin police officer was able to coax the repitile out of the pantry and held it until animal control officials arrived to remove it.
"Hopefully, by at least three continental US States in the distance," the department posted on its Facebook page.
Police officials did not specify the type or length of the snake, KMOV reported.
