Jake Owen writes country song inspired by Hannah Brown, ‘The Bachelor’

Country singer Jake Owen shared his thoughts, in the form of a song, on the return of Hannah Brown to “The Bachelor.”

Owen was live on social media Thursday after Brown’s surprise return.

"Monday night, my girlfriend had the TV on and all you heard about on the new 'Bachelor' was Alabama Hannah, it was just Alabama Hannah everywhere," Owen said in the video. "She won't go away."

Owen said he met Brown when he performed a song on the last season of “The Bachelorette.”

He was inspired to write this song, “Alabama Hannah,” after Brown’s talk with her ex Peter Weber on Monday’s episode. He said the song is about the feeling of rejection.

“This is not even a dig at the actual Alabama Hannah," Owen said before launching into the song.

Brown disagrees.

"Well, this is one way to get a song written about you," she said on social media. "This is some catchy shade."

After Owen plays he continues to push back that it’s not a song disrespecting Brown.

“I think that’s for anybody out there that’s got that person out there,” Owen says. “Make it, or break it.”

He added:

“I love Hannah Brown, she’s awesome so that’s no diss on her.”
