Several women have been targeting men wearing expensive watches, police said.

Officials said the women are either robbing the men at gunpoint or stealing the watches and other items when the victims fall asleep in Atlanta.

Police are investigating at least 15 cases, and police arrested two women Friday.

Upscale hotel bars are the hunting ground for the thieves, according to police.

Officials said in one case, a man was staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in July when he met one of the women at the bar.

He said he invited her up to his room but said she suggested they walk across the street and get some drinks from the store. Police said the man told them when the pair was walking, the woman was glued to her phone, texting. That made him a little nervous, and for good reason.

Police said when he walked into the store, four men attacked and robbed him of his Rolex watch, other jewelry and cash.

Police arrested Kodi Lee Jones. Police said the crime was real and they're investigating 14 others that are very similar.

In another case at the St. Regis in Buckhead, police said a woman in a pink dress met a man at the bar and brought another man up to his room to rob him of his watch, valued at $25,000.

In another case, a man met a woman at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead, and when he brought her back up to his room, he immediately started putting his Rolex and wallet in the safe. That's when police said the woman, identified as Sarah Bennett, pulled a gun out of her purse and robbed him.

Many of the victims wanted no part of the story. They said they were married and talking about the crime would cause problems for them.

Police are working to see if any of the cases are connected.
