FBI: ‘Bad Wig Bandit’ believed to be responsible for 3 bank robberies in North Carolina

The same man is believed to be responsible for robbing three banks in the Charlotte area and the FBI is asking for the public's help to locate the man.

The FBI said the "Bad Wig Bandit" hit a bank in Huntersville on Dec. 13, 2019. On Jan. 8, the same person could be seen on surveillance video robbing a New Horizon Bank in Belmont, and about five hours later, he allegedly robbed a Wells Fargo in Gastonia.

In each robbery, he wore a different wig, the FBI said.
