A size 3.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded Saturday about 60 miles from South Padre Island on the Texas Gulf Coast, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake had an epicenter about 10 miles below the water’s surface.
The geological group asked anyone who felt the quake to share information with them.
