Crews rescue dog, owner from embankment

Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue crews rescued a 100-pound dog and its owner from an embankment Tuesday night.

Crews were called to the scene where a woman fell while trying to save Sage, her Great Pyrenees.

"Crews reporting everyone wants to come up the cliff but the dog," Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue tweeted. "Dog having second thoughts half way up."

Eventually, firefighters hauled the owner and Sage up a cliff to safety. 

There were no serious injuries.
