A high school football game Friday night had to be rescheduled for an afternoon start after thieves damaged field lights to steal copper wire.
Officials said they discovered the wire theft Thursday night at Federal Way Memorial Stadium.
They expect repairs to be completed Monday. Police are investigating.
That crime is similar to another copper theft, which shut off the lights at Edmonds Stadium last week. Those lights have now been fixed.
