At a northbound rest area on I-75 near Wesley Chapel, a custodian discovered the women and called 911.
"They're on the northbound side of the building. All three of them standing in the nude putting on suntan lotion," the custodian said, according to WFLA.
During the chase, the women tried to drive over one trooper after going the wrong way and threatened another with a pink and purple baseball bat, the FHP told the Times.
A Dade City policeman used stop sticks to deflate the car's tires, and a state trooper rammed their car and broke the vehicle's glass, WFLA reported.
Arrested when the chase ended were Oasis Shalira McLeod, 18, of Kingston, New York, who drove the car; Jeniyan McLeod, 19, also of Kingston; and Cecilia Eunique Young, 19, of Lutz, Florida, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. The three women were charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, fleeing to elude and indecent exposure, the Times reported.
Oasis McLeod is being held in lieu of $57,000 bond, the newspaper reported. Young was being held in lieu of a $27,000 bond, while Jeniyan McLeod’s bond was $18,000.
