A Minnesota man is accused of spraying people with a spray bottle while on a flight to Phoenix and then jumping from the aircraft onto the tarmac when it landed, KNXV reported.
According to Phoenix police, the 25-year-old man became unruly on the Friday morning American Airlines flight from Minneapolis to Arizona, WCCO reported. He allegedly touched people on their faces and sprayed them with a liquid from a spray bottle, the television station reported.
The man, who has not been identified, was brought to the front of the plane to be escorted off after it landed, but he was able break free, run up an aisle and open an emergency exit before jumping from the plane, WCCO reported. The man fell about 10 feet to the tarmac and suffered minor injuries, KNXV reported.
Workers were able to subdue the man until police arrived, the television station reported.
