Monroe police are investigating the fatal accident and haven’t released what may have caused Neanover to wreck his motorcycle. The posted speed limit in the neighborhood is 25 mph

The accident occurred in the Colonial Manor Square subdivision off Ohio 63. One woman who lives on Hollytree said she believes Neanover lived in the neighborhood.

The woman whose Honda CRV was struck said she was coming home from work when she saw Monroe police officers in front of her home. She was told they were investigating a fatal accident, she said.

“It’s so sad,” the woman said Friday morning.

The back window of a vehicle parked on the street was smashed out, and the woman said glass was cleaned up.

This was at least the third deadly motorcycle crash this year in Butler County, according to the State Highway Patrol. There were 157 fatal motorcycle accidents in Ohio in 2017, the lowest since 140 in 2014, according to the state patrol.
