Greg Boe, 54, was convicted Tuesday in the April 2018 incident of terrorizing and violating a disorderly conduct restraining order, the Williston Herald reported. On Monday, the first day of the trial, Boe allegedly sent a two-page letter to Northwest District Judge Paul Jacobson from the Williams County Jail, writing the magistrate had been added to a list of people God had told him to kill, the newspaper reported.
The list in the letter included the woman he was accused of threatening, Jacobson, Williams County State's Attorney Marlyce Wilder and her staff, and members of law enforcement agencies in the county, as well as several churches and schools, the Williston Herald reported.
Boe, who defended himself, told jurors in his closing argument Tuesday that he was going to "kill you all," the Grand Forks Herald reported.
“I’m going to kill everybody in Williams County,” Boe said in court. “I’m going to kill them all.”
The jury deliberated for less than 10 minutes before finding Boe guilty of the two charges, the Grand Forks Herald reported.
