Warm weekend ahead with chances for storms

Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight with some increase in clouds, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will fall into the middle 50s by morning.

SATURDAY: Partly cloudy skies will start the day with increasing clouds, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. It will be unseasonably warm with highs reaching into the lower 70s. There will be a chance for a passing shower or storm, mainly late.

SUNDAY: It will be breezy and wet with numerous showers and storms, especially early in the day. Highs will be in the middle 60s.

MONDAY: A brief break in the rain is expected with some breaks in the clouds midday. However, the chance for showers and a few storms will return late. Highs will be back near 70 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies are expected with a chance for showers. Highs will be in the middle 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Skies stay dry but it will be a bit cooler with highs in the upper 50s.
