WEST CHESTER TWP. — Authorities say on Sunday morning a West Chester police officer spotted three suspicious packages placed outside U.S. Congressman John Boehner’s office.
The packages were found at 10:45 a.m. outside Boehner’s office, 7969 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd. Bomb experts with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office were called to assist and determined that the packages were not explosive.
The packages were briefcases and authorities found nothing but papers inside, according to Local 12 News.
The incident remains under investigation.
