Two shooting victims were found Saturday night after deputies responded to check the welfare of an individual at a home on West Lakengren Drive, according to initial reports.
Deputies were called to the home in the 100 block of West Lakengren Drive around 10:30 p.m. Saturday after a man told dispatchers his brother didn’t report to work, emergency scanner traffic indicates.
The responding deputy found the front door to the house unlocked and announced his presence several times before entering the house, according to reports.
After entering the home a shooting victim was discovered in the lower level of the house, according to scanner traffic.
A second person also was found by the deputy in another part of the house “in the same situation.”
The condition of both people was not immediately known.
Dispatchers said they “could neither confirm, nor deny” details about the investigation.
