FBI: Man sought in Springboro, part of Middletown drug probe, is armed and dangerous

The FBI was looking for 26-year-old Marqui Conley when they, a SWAT team, Warren County Sheriff's deputies, Springboro police and other law enforcement descended upon a home in a Springboro neighborhood, search warrant in hand, Thursday afternoon.

Conley, considered armed and dangerous, is wanted on a charge of felony narcotics trafficking, FBI spokesman Todd Lindgren said Thursday night.

He is alleged to be part of a violent criminal organization based in Middletown believed to be involved in multiple homicides. Federal and local law enforcement agencies conducted a series of search warrants Monday in the Middletown area, Miamisburg and Dayton.

At the conclusion of the search warrants, federal authorities arrested Benwan Edwards, 25, of Middletown. The charges authorities are pursuing against Edwards have not been released. He was only arrest made on Monday, though more arrests are expected, Middletown Police Chief Rodney Muterspaw said.

 

While there is a federal arrest warrant for Conley, he was not located during these searches.

This investigation is being worked cooperatively by the Middletown Division of Police, Butler County Sheriff's Office, Warren County Drug Task Force, ATF, Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI Safe Street Task Force.

Conley was also the subject of a search warrant executed Thursday in Springboro at house on Elkins Lane.

He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and 175 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

He is known to have ties to Middletown, Hamilton, West Chester, Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Toledo.
