Middletown hits milestone of 100 confirmed coronavirus cases

The number of confirmed coronavirus COVID-19 cases have increased by 19 over the past week, raising the total of confirmed coronavirus COVID-19 case to 100, according to the Middletown Health Department.

In addition to reaching 100 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, there are also two probable cases.

None of the cases reported in the past week did not require hospitalization.

Here is a breakdown of the confirmed cases in Middletown:

  • June 1: Three new cases, a 68-year-old woman; a 28-year-old woman; and a 29-year-old man.
  • May 31: Five new cases, a 65-year-old-man; a 64-year-old woman; a 21-year-old woman; a 26-year-old man; and a 48-year-old man.
  • May 30: Two new cases, an 11-year-old girl; and a 61-year-old woman.
  • May 29: Three new cases, a 61-year-old woman; a 72-year-old woman; and a 91-year-old man.
  • May 28: Three new cases, a 47-year-old man; a 44-year-old woman; and a 28-year-old woman.
  • May 27: Two new cases, a 20-year-old woman; and a 36-year-old man.
  • May 26: One new case, a 30-year-old woman.

As of 2 p.m. Monday, the Ohio Department of Health reported 33,501 confirmed COVID-19 cases statewide with 6,112 hospitalizations including 1,569 admissions to intensive care units. There have been 1,993 confirmed deaths statewide. In addition, there are 2,483 probable cases and 213 probable deaths due to COVID-19.

The age range of coronavirus COVID-19 cases range from under one-year-old to 109 years of age with the median age of 49.
