Medicaid recipients can get Amazon discount

Amazon is now selling Prime memberships at a discount to Medicaid recipients.

The company is selling Prime memberships — which include free fast shipping — for a discounted $5.99 monthly rate, compared to the full $12.99 rate.

“We hope to make Prime even more accessible,” Cem Sibay, Amazon Prime vice president, stated in a blog post about the discount.
