Fairfield road to close for three weeks starting on Monday

For the next three weeks, motorists will need to detour around Industry Drive between Factory and Veteran drives due to construction work.

The closure is for improvements to the wastewater collection system. The city has contracted Howell Contractors to perform the work.

Construction will begin on Monday morning, March 5, and will last three weeks, weather permitting.

Access to businesses in this block of Industry Drive will be maintained during construction.

During the closure, portable electronic message boards will direct traffic around the construction site. To navigate around this block, motorists are advised to detour around this block using Hicks Boulevard, which is accessible via Factory and Veterans drives.
