Fairfield school district is mourning the loss of a high school student.
Franquie Johnson died unexpectedly while at home Friday night, June 12, according to the school district.
"Franquie's sweet disposition is what her teachers and school administrators will remember most about her," the district said in a Facebook post. "Please keep Franquie's family, friends, teachers and school administrators in your thoughts and prayers."
By 2 p.m. Sunday, less than 24 hours after the district posted about Johnson’s death, nearly 200 visitors left comments about Johnson.
Funeral information will be shared when it becomes available.
Johnson is the second Fairfield High School student to die last week. On Wednesday, Antaun Hill Jr. was shot and killed in a group fight behind the YMCA in Liberty Twp.’s Liberty Park.
