DETAILED FORECAST

OVERNIGHT: Cloudy, cool with scattered showers moving into the Miami Valley. Rain becomes more widespread through the night, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Look for breezy periods featuring gusts possibly of more than 20 mph. Temperatures will dip into the lower 40s and then rise toward morning.

TUESDAY: Scattered rain comes in for the morning, drying out in the northwest to southeast throughout the day. Temperatures start in the low to mid-40s and then fall as drier air arrives by afternoon. Clouds break a bit into the night as temperatures drop into the mid-20s.

WEDNESDAY: The morning will be chilly as temperatures hover in the mid-20s. Clouds give way to sun, but high temperatures will remain in the mid-20s. We will see another cold night with lows, again, in the lower 20s.

THURSDAY: Another cold day is in store but sunny and dry. High temperatures will be in the upper 20s as the overnight lows will bring the coldest weather of the week with lows in the upper teens.

FRIDAY: We will have a very cold morning with temperatures in the teens. There will be sunshine during the day with highs in the upper 30s.

SATURDAY: Warmer and more pleasant to start to the weekend with highs in the lower to mid-40s under mostly sunny skies.
