Overnight: It remains breezy and mild, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Showers move into the area with lows around 50 degrees.

Tuesday: Expect a mild and wet morning with rounds of rain throughout the day. Highs will reach the middle 50s. Showers pick back up into the evening and overnight. As colder air arrives, rain will transition to freezing ran, sleet and snow.

Wednesday: A brief wintry mix or snow is likely before sunrise. Roads may be wet or slick and scattered clouds are expected throughout the day. Highs will fall somewhere in the middle to upper 30s — colder but closer to normal for this time of year. Showers return at night, falling as a wintry mix.

Thursday: A morning wintry mix will end quickly, leaving the rest of the day mostly cloudy and cool with a few flurries or a passing light snow shower. Highs are projected to be in the upper 30s.
