The Butler County OVI Task Force will conduct an OVI Checkpoint tonight starting at 11 p.m. and ending no later than 3 a.m. Thursday
The checkpoint will be at 4400 Dixie Highway near Symmes Road in Fairfield, according to a release from the Butler County OVI Task Force.
State law requires that law enforcement announce the time and location of sobriety checkpoints ahead of time.
The checkpoints, along with extra patrols nearby, are continuing task force’s effort to reduce OVI-related crashes that result in injuries and fatalities.
The Butler County OVI Task Force is funded by the United States Department of Transportation/National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ohio Department of Public Safety.
