Police have arrested two students at Middletown High School today for drugs after building administrators were tipped off. The liquid substance was given to a female student who became sick. Police are testing the liquid.

“Thanks to the swift action of our School Resource Officer (SRO) and administrative staff, the substance was confiscated and the situation was turned over to our local law enforcement,” said Beadle.
No one was injured and no weapons were involved, she said.
Middletown Police were not immediately available to comment.
“Middletown Schools do not tolerate these types of behaviors and there will be consequences for these actions. The safety and well-being of our students and staff is our first priority,” said Beadle. “We continue to educate our students on substance abuse and the See Something, Say Something campaign.”
