Traffic snarls from the construction of a new roundabout at Princeton and Yankee roads are about to almost dissolve.
Butler County’s newest roundabout is expected to open the week of Sept. 18, which is ahead of schedule, according to the Engineer’s Office.
The first phase of the project was scheduled to last three months, but the new roundabout, Princeton Road and northbound Yankee Road will all be open by late next week, according to Butler County Deputy Engineer Dale Schwieterman.
“We had three months planned for that with the hope maybe it would sooner,” he said. “As of right now we should be able to beat that.”
