JUST IN: White Castle gets steamy with new ‘Bacon Threesomes’

And if your name is ‘Bacon,’ or you live on Bacon Street, there’s a deal that has your name on it this Saturday

Columbus-based White Castle today announced what it calls with a wink and a nudge a “truly steamy” offer: “Bacon Threesomes” that will be available through Oct. 31.

The $3 Bacon Threesome includes three options of bacon-topped sliders with a side and a small drink.

The options include the “Bacon Classic 3” — a Bacon Cheese Slider, small french fries and a small soft drink; the “Bacon Breakfast 3” — a Bacon Breakfast Slider with egg and cheese, small hash brown and a small coffee; or the “Bacon Waffle 3” — a Bacon Belgian Waffle Slider with egg and cheese, small hash brown and a small coffee.

And on International Bacon Day, Saturday Sept. 1, White Castle will be treating any customer whose name includes bacon, or has bacon in their address or on any other component of their identification card, to a free Bacon Threesome with the use of a coupon distributed through social media leading up to the holiday.

“You heard that right, Kevin Bacon, White Castle is waiting for you,” company officials said in a release. 

White Castle, which bills itself “America’s first fast-food restaurant and slider pioneer since 1921,” operates nearly 400 restaurants in 13 states.

In December 2013, the White Castle opened a production facility in Vandalia that makes Original Sliders and other products for retail sales in grocery, club stores, convenience stores, vending operations and concessions across the U.S.
