A 12,550-square-foot building is being proposed for the vacant land next to Field & Stream and near Bar Louie at Austin Landing, Miami Twp. records show.

Austin Landing developer VisCap Development has not indicated what type of retail business plans to locate in the complex off Interstate 75 that’s home to about 2,500 jobs.
But records indicate a tenant plans to occupy the building by mid-February of 2019. The building’s proposed height is 32 feet, six inches.
The “proposed use is similar and compatible with adjacent land uses,” according to Miami Twp. records.
