Jeweler plans fall move to Austin Landing

Karaman Jewelers will expand operations when it moves from Mason to Austin Landing in Miami Twp. in early September.

The retailer, now located at 5948 Snider Road, will move to a 1,515-square-foot site next to the park at the 142-acre mixed use complex, according to RG Properties, developers of Austin Landing.

It will be next to The Spicy Olive, ele’ Cake Co., and Cold Stone Creamery, RG Properties stated in a news release Tuesday.

The store, expected to open this fall as Karaman Fine Jewelry & Gifts, has carried jewelry from independent designers such as Adel Chefridi and Zoe Chicco while offering design, repair and appraisal service for jewelry and watches.

The site will allow for expanded offerings, including products from L:A Bruket, Matt & Nat Bags and Rifle Stationery, according to the company.

“I’m very excited to bring our collections to Austin Landing” owner Zachary Karaman stated in the release. “Jewelry is very personal, so it gives me great pride to say there’s a designer and a story behind almost everything we offer.”
