Hamilton firefighters battled an apartment fire Tuesday morning at a complex on N.W. Washington Blvd. that was contained to one unit.
Fire crews responded shortly after 8 a.m to the multi-unit complex and were able to extinguish the fire without any reported injuries, according to Arson Investigator Trevor Snider.
“It was a small fire and nothing really significant and we were able to contain it to just one unit,” Snider said. “There was no major damage to the apartment complex and it will just require some work to the one unit.”
A call put out for mutual aid from another fire company was just a precautionary measure, he said.
