1 injured in Butler County crash between truck, motorcycle

One person was injured Thursday evening in a crash between a motorcycle and a truck.

The crash happened around 6:55 p.m. at the corner of Hamilton Mason Road and Morris roads in Fairfield Twp. when a 2007 Chevy Silverado truck heading west on Hamilton Mason Road failed to yield when turning left at the intersection and struck a 2017 Triumph motorcycle heading east, according to a crash report.

The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man from West Chester Twp., was “ejected with incapacitating injuries,” according to the crash report. He was taken by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Both vehicles sustained damage, according to the report.

Speed and alcohol were not factors in the crash, which remains under investigation, according to Fairfield Twp. Police Capt. Doug Lanier.
