Infant in home when police seize potent drug fentanyl

Three people were arrested and cash and drugs were seized Friday during a search of a Trenton home, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

The Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Unit (BURN) conducted a search at 401 Sal Boulevard, Apt. A and nearly $9,000 in cash along with approximately 36 grams of fentanyl were confiscated.

Dante Curry, 24, and Aaron Morgan, 30, were charged with trafficking and possession of drugs, both felony charges. Grisley Mateo Castillo, 19, was charged with child endangering, a misdemeanor. There was a 1-year-old infant in the home when it was searched.

“This was a great investigation that led to ending an illegal drug business,” said Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones. “This drug causes deaths every day and these criminals had no problem having an infant near it.”
