MORE DINING NEWS: New taproom, restaurant open in Monroe
The beer tapping will start at 6 p.m. and the event also will feature free ice cream while supplies last, a custom photo booth and live entertainment starting at 8 p.m. with Wilder, an Americana group out of Cincinnati.
The new brew also will be available starting Monday at participating Kroger stores, as well as numerous independent area retailers in the greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington and Louisville areas.
The beverage is inspired by one of Graeter’s oldest traditional flavors, Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip, which features black raspberries from Oregon’s Willamette Valley and gourmet bittersweet chocolate chips.
Braxton Brewing Co. is using Graeter’s black raspberry puree to craft the one-of-kind Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip Milk Stout, a dark brew with notes of roasted barley and a creamy texture.
The stout will only be available for purchase for a limited time.

Jake Rouse, Braxton Brewing Company’s co-founder and CEO, said collaborating with the Graeter’s team on the project has been “a dream come true.”
“Over the past six months, our teams have taken this project from imagination to one of the best tasting stouts we’ve ever created,” Rouse said in a release. “We hope this is the first of many collaborations between the Braxton and Graeter’s Family and can’t wait for consumers to get their hands on this beer.”
Graeter’s has more than 50 retail stores and ships more than 300,000 pints annually for online mail order sales. Graeter’s can also be found in more than 6,000 grocery stores in 46 states.
Graeter’s CEO Richard Graeter said the company is excited to partner with another local family company to create something “truly unique.”
“As a Cincinnati-grown company ourselves, we’re proud to support not only local companies, but also craft brands that are just as passionate about preserving their authenticity as we are,” Graeter said.
