Woman chases after man who snatched her purse only to then have her jewelry stolen

A Hamilton woman was robbed twice of her purse and jewelry when she chased the suspect from her house, according to a police report.

A resident told police a man grabbed her purse and ran out her home’s front door when she she asked him to leave the Shuler Avenue residence on June 8, according to the report.

The woman chase after the man, and when she caught up with him, he grabbed a necklace and an earring off her body, according to the police report.

The woman said she was then shoved to the ground by the suspect who got away with $1,000 and jewelry, according to the report.

Police have made no arrests.
