UPDATE: School lockdowns lifted after 1 injured in Lemon Twp. shooting

The lockdown at Edgewood schools was lifted at 11:30 a.m. today, 30 minutes after it started in the five school buildings, officials said.

Edgewood schools are on a lockdown this morning following a shooting in Lemon Twp., school officials said.

No Middletown City Schools have been impacted, according to school officials.

One person was transported from the scene of the shooting to Atrium Medical Center by Monroe paramedics, according to police dispatch.


Police are responding to a report of a man getting shot in the leg in the 3100 block of South Main Street in Lemon Twp.
