Sheriff: Man charged with felony drug possession after 200 grams of cocaine seized

Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones said undercover agents tracked more than 200 grams of cocaine to the Middletown address, then executed a search warrant. They recovered the cocaine, more than $2,000 in cash, a handgun, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.

Raymond Tillis, 48, was charged with possession of drugs and booked in the Middletown City Jail. He will have a preliminary hearing Friday in Middletown Municipal Court, according to records.More charges are expected, pending it being presented to a Butler County grand jury, Jones said.

“The BURN Taskforce does an amazing job and this is just another example of their hard work,” Jones wrote on the department’s Facebook page. “We took another one off the street and put him behind bars where he should be.”
