York, 28, was arrested on a warrant Thursday by deputies in the Dayton area, according to Det. Darryl Swafford of Germantown police.
He is now being held in the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
York called 911 from a home on Windcliff Drive on Nov. 13, 2013 to get help for the unresponsive child. She was pronounced dead two days later at Dayton Children's Hospital.
The autopsy revealed Sellars died from blunt force trauma, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office.
The incident happened just two months before her second birthday.
