Authorities last week arrested Dwight Watson, of Canton, after a two-month investigation that included searches of his home and computers, Cherokee County sheriff's spokesman Lt. Jay Baker said Friday.
Investigators for the sheriff's Internet Crimes Against Children unit said Watson is one of the most active child porn consumers in Georgia. Tens of thousands of "files of interest" containing images and videos were on Watson's computers, Baker said.
Watson, 43, was released from the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
