Lebanon eighth-grader arrested for selling pot

LEBANON — A Lebanon Junior High School student was arrested for selling marijuana and possessing drug paraphernalia at the school, according to Lebanon police.

Police received a call at 7:44 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, from Assistant Principal Marla Timmerman, reporting that the 13-year-old male was selling the drug in the gymnasium, according to police records.

The eighth-grader was arrested and put in the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center, according to records.

Lebanon police could not provide information as to how much marijuana was seized.

Lebanon Junior High Principal Ian Frank would not comment on the incident, citing privacy laws.
