Winter Weather Advisory ends early

The latest spring snow system hit Butler County, most of which received at least 2 inches.

A Winter Weather Advisory was canceled more than an hour early.

Totals will likely stick to 1 or 2 inches on grassy surfaces, but up to 3 inches was possible, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Kirstie Zontini said.

The National Weather Service has provided no snow totals for Butler County, but nearby 2.4 inches was reported in Sharonville and 2.5 inches in Greenhills, both villages in Hamilton County.

If you travel south to Cincinnati or northern Kentucky, take your time on the roads, especially into the night when temperatures drop again and there could be slick spots.

Overnight temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-20s.
